Item Reviews
Great Introduction to the Genre
Overall this is a very strong collection of shorts. There is something here for everyone - cutsey fantasy in Squonk the Dragon, Gerbil 07, Puppy Love and CSI: Translyvania. Humorous noir in Hard Scratching in Kittytown, The Cat Thief. Science-fiction in 0mega, Clearance Papers, and Unexpected Bouquets. Tear-jerkers like I hold my father's Paws, and Edward Bear and the Very Long Walk and MORE! Not a bad or so-so story among them. A few of my favorites were Gerbil 07, Puppy Love, Hard Scratching in Kittytown, and Edward Bear and the Very Long Walk. I'd recommend this collection to anyone, but especially to new readers of the genre (like me!)
