This is a beautiful, original story that I couldn't help but fall in love with. Wonderfully written, the author presents a harsh, gloomy world full of paradoxically innocent and vibrant critters, each special and memorable as any other. But, as the main character can attest, remembering can hurt - and quite a lot! A must read for people who like some Sci-Fi with their existentialism.
