This was a very enjoyable anthology and I can see why the stories within have won the Coyotl award. There's only a few that I didn't really get super into and it's moreso the style of how they were written than it was the content of the story. There's a good variety as well, which kept me interested to see what the next story was going to be about. It has a different feel to it than other anthologies I've read that are held together by a central theme. This one has that as well, but the theme is an award. That means the stories within can vary more widely. That's how you get playful celestial foxes next to PTSD dogs who are dealing with coming home from war. In a way, I think it's a good example to show the breadth that furry stories can communicate. Worth taking a look to see the best of furry fiction from half a decade of stories!
