After the opening chapter I instantly fell in love with the main protagonist Jackson. It had set him up strong as well as the rest of the characters which is why, I suppose, this is my favourite Kyell Gold book. The story is as strong and by the end I felt happy with how it turned out. Well, despite not being able to hear more about the most awesome coyote. Also while I wasn't a huge fan of R.E.M. before reading the novella, after I read it I did listen to their albums for two weeks straight. Definitely a must read in furry fiction.
